The MANILA OBSERVATORY, a Jesuit institution engaged in scientific research, invites applicants for the following position and project:

 

STUDENT ASSISTANTS (2)

Preservation of Manila Observatory

Archival Collection Project

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

§       Library Science student

§       With units/background on basic archiving

§       Computer literate

 

The Student Assistants shall assist the Librarian in the:

§       Inventory of Manila Observatory’s archival collection

§       Treatment, arrangement and transfer of archival materials

§       Development of catalogs/indexes of the collection
