My Weapon Collection

Okay... So I was bored during the holy week... So what did I do? I fiddled with my yoyos... And I checked my weapons collection.

I have always been fascinated by weapons, the silent ones, not the gun-types. As I was cleaning these guys, I realized why I never let anyone inside my room... It's kinda dangerous. I remembered how my then young cousin was able to open one of my folding knives and couldn't fold it back. Scared and wide-eyed, she opened one of the other knives and was trying to pry the knife wider to fold it back... That got to me... Anyway, here's my small collection, an assortment of doo-dads from years gone by. Seems my dad started me off on weapon collecting. He gave me my first nunchaku, my first arnis book and my first balisong. When he died, I asked my mom for his knives, now they're in my collection too. I coat most of the metal parts in vaseline to prevent rusting.

Nikon D100...

*Sigh* I'm bored... Well, more tired than bored, really. Got to fiddle around with a Nikon D100, it's digital, 1GB storage CFC, loads of shooting modes, takes small and large JPG as well as print and publishing quality TIFF and NEF / RAW (that's 3008 x 2000 at 300dpi, baby!) for our company's book project. Last I heard it costs about the same as a second hand car... Kinda starting to like Nikon more nowadays... Aw heck, I'm a Canon man! I still want that Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II !!! (16.7 megapixels)

THE P3

The newest boyband P3 paints the town red with their scintillating voices and impossible dance moves. See their onstage antics via 14 inch video wall high above the concert stage. See Saver, the wonder dog as their front act. With sponsors Lily's Peanut Butter, Sunjoy briefs, Mama Sita Hot Sauce, Sarsa ni Mang Tomas, and many more! Media coverage by Maximo. From left to right: Kenneth Fadri (aka Ryan Rev-X), P3 manager Nick Ballesteros, Roland Amago (aka Brad Barbula), Bebert Lacuna (aka Dodong Diesel) and Igor Cabbab (aka Cody Havolin)... I know, I know... We were drunk when we thought it up. This was sometime last February, somewhere in Ortigas... Was too drunk to remember... (I think it's Chicken Bacolod... Boardwalk yata... I'm useless...)

The P3 paint the town red... What the hell is P3? Don't ask... O_o;;

With my former students. ^_^

Heidi, Carina and Nathalie. Been talking to them. Heidi is with "the" Ateneo (Rizal Lib), Carina is with the Observatory. Nats was my co-teacher when I was still teaching at the Institute of Library Science. Nats: "Uy! Si Carlos Agassi ba yung pumasok ng pinto ng Shakeys?!" Abigail Cruz is not in this photo.

January 21, 2005, friday night. Went out with my former students. They all have jobs now, all professionals. And, yes, they're all cute (as in, puppy dogs).

The entourage... all with hand held masks.

My sister and my (now) brother-in-law wanted a theater theme for their wedding. So there were mimes and masks all around. They were married March 13, 2004. I made all the masks for the entourage and dinner tables.

So...

Si Jenz at si Aldin na lang papatayin ko.... Pareho...

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! ^_^
