The Gorilla is Sick...

Yup, trinatrankaso ako. Since this morning. I felt the soreness in my throat, the onset of cough and colds na yun. Pero tuloy pa rin. Minsan lang pasko, e. Ayun, had to cut my stay at the SLIS Christmas party short since I felt bad already. Tinapos ko lang talaga yung sayaw nina Dawn, kasi talagang hindi ako makapaniwala na dancer sya dahil antahimik nya sa klase. Sayang, would have wanted to see Faye dance as well. Kaso tutumba na ako pag pinilit ko pa. Kakatakot nga mag-drive pag nabibingi at woozy. Basta andyan pa rin ako sa SLIS bukas. Posting pics after this, then tulog na. Zzzzzzzz....

Nopperabo Zero

This was how my manga (comics) series was supposed to end. But Questor folded late 2004 so we never had the chance to release this last installment of Nopperabo. (Weird that the last installment is the origin story...)




In Japanese Obake / Kaidan folklore (ghost stories), the nopperabo is a woman without a face. The Questor manga Nopperabo was not a ghost but an angel of vengeance. A woman suddenly becomes faceless then takes on the face of a crime victim to exact justice.

I miss making my own manga. :( I miss the talented and temperamental (or just plain mental) manga artists of Questor. At least everyone has moved on to better things.

I used to preserve the content of the old gokitomo.com and nopperabo.com Questor Manga websites. Still have them in my hard drive.

Evangelion Sunset Christmas

Got "sunset" tagged by Nap. So here they are. Problem was that I had to be in Ortigas. When you're in an urban jungle the sunset is so hard to spot, unless your building is high and the window of your room is facing the right way. So these are more of "dusk" rather than "sunset". The sun was already at the back of SM Megamall, wasn't able to catch it. (Sa susunod pusa na lang, mas madami ako pusa kesa nature. O_o;; Hmmm... Makagawa nga nun. :D)
