April 28 to 30, 2009. Lagos del Sol, Caliraya, Cavinti, Laguna.
Some notes on this.
- Same place as last year, still nice and cozy.
- Some new faces.
- Rained the whole time so not much on the R & R.
- Minor disaster for me. Normal trip to Caliraya w/ minivan was 2 1/2 to 3hrs. on the way home, damn 2wheel (rear-only) drive broke in Pagsanjan. Had to drive painfully slow with 4wheel drive engaged to run the van using the front wheels with the rear wheels freewheeling. Took me 5hrs+. Had to run only at 40kph max, plus the with the extra effort needed to spin the front wheels, overheating was a major problem. Had to gas station hop along SLEX. At least I got home safe.
