I used a cardboard chalkbox, scrapbook paper and stickers for this one. It's going to Joytag. :D

New Paste-up Decoupage Projects

Had some ugly old index card boxes. They looked boring.
Materials:
1. Wooden index card boxes
2. Magazines
3. White Elmer's glue
4. Duraseal adhesive plastic cover
5. Scissors
6. Hobby / X-acto knives
I just laid a plain base and pasted cut up parts of old magazines on it for color. Final sealing by Duraseal adhesive plastic cover (old stock, can't find newer stock in National Bookstore).
From top left: Hello Kitty box, Capt. America and Iron Man box, Western comics box, Superboy box (old project, repaired), Anime DBZ et al box, Anime GITS et al box (old project, repaired)

Collage

I've been revisiting an old hobby for the past two days: paste-up collage art. I just get old magazines, cut up anything that catches my eye, then paste them onto anything. In college one of my teachers got one of my works, it was actually just a box fashioned into a bag. Been years since I did this so I started small this time around. Got an old planner and pasted words, pics and logos on it then sealed it in plastic. Maybe I'll go bigger and on canvas again next time.
pic 1: the plain old planner
pic 2: other raw matls, almost all recycled: the cut up pieces, the scissors, hobby knives, plastic, elmer's glue
pics 3 and 4: front and back done, all it needs is plastic covering
pics 5 and 6: covered and heated to shrink the plastic tight
