I've been revisiting an old hobby for the past two days: paste-up collage art. I just get old magazines, cut up anything that catches my eye, then paste them onto anything. In college one of my teachers got one of my works, it was actually just a box fashioned into a bag. Been years since I did this so I started small this time around. Got an old planner and pasted words, pics and logos on it then sealed it in plastic. Maybe I'll go bigger and on canvas again next time.

pic 2: other raw matls, almost all recycled: the cut up pieces, the scissors, hobby knives, plastic, elmer's glue
pics 3 and 4: front and back done, all it needs is plastic covering
pics 5 and 6: covered and heated to shrink the plastic tight
nice. ginagawa ko yan sa journals ko.. pero chocolate labels gamit ko, para masarap tignan. hehe ^__^
ReplyDeleteako kahit ano. :D hehehe. basta maganda tingnan isasama ko. Hehehe. tinitingnan ko nga yung mga pang-scrapbook sa national at sm, parang overpriced. sabi ko, magazne lang na luma katapat nyan. hehehe.

ReplyDeletemahal yung buttons sa mga shops -_- pag ganun sa palengke na lang ako hahanap. old scraps of clothes, bags, etc would just be fine. tagal ko na ring di nag-collage. been thinking about decorating one of my notebooks. i probably should go and follow your lead XD
