I had to repair the old Sony Vaio PCG-505SX. I removed a leaking internal (bios) battery just to get it to work again. See that green thing near the laptop hinge? That's the part I had to remove. The Vaio's so thin. :D
An officemate got me this knife pair when she went to Dagupan. It's now part of my weapons collection. :D
I still get a few butterflies in my stomach whenever I have to look into the guts or do surgery of some sort to something that's worth more than my average monthly salary. XD Was the laptop OK after removing the battery?
...and yeah, the knife looks really *COOL*. Kinda like those things I used to throw at wooden blocks for sport. :D
Yeah! Knife throwing! Asteeg! The laptop now works fine. :D Matagal na palaisipan sa akin kung bakit ayaw mag-boot o minsan magbo-boot pero mamamatay. O_o;;
Actually I bought the laptop 2nd hand. :D 5k, and it's slow, 266mhz, but WinME runs okay. Still haven't found a PCMCIA CD drive so I could install Linux. :( I like it because of the size, maliit at manipis kasi. :D
aack, cool knife!!~♥
ReplyDeleteYeah, but it's really small. And it only costs 100 pesos. :D Forgot to mention that. But for 100pesos it really is cool. :D
