This is a three-year-old Shuttle XPC used for web and print publishing by one of our graphics staff in Ortigas. It hasn't been opened and cleaned since it was bought. It overheated this November so I had to open it up. All fans weren't working and you could fry an egg because of the heat. You know why? Cobwebs, dust and dirt have built up in many places, hampering optimum functionality (wow, big words :D). Jeez, don't let this happen to your rig. Took me half an afternoon to clean it up.

ReplyDeleteokay naman daw. but the 2 units we use in ortigas both overheated. siguro dahil cramped kaya mabilis uminit. pag wala yung case cover at pag gumagana yung fans ay okay naman. :D hirap nga lang linisin or mag-add dahil cramped sya sa loob. :D
