UPcat's Back

Yup, UPcat, king of the UP Main Library Cats, is back. He left when there was a lot of noise from the renovation of the Main Lib steps. Saw him yesterday and I just had to take a pic of him again. Sabi nga ng mga guards, "Andyan na ho uli, kaso madungis sya ngayon." Yeah, and he hangs around the guard table instead of the pillar. Maybe he's sick and tired of Catalog already. :D

    Ayun, saksi kami ni Abe at ng mga gwardiya kanina.

    Merely a few days after he returned o the Main Lb, UPcat was beaten to a pulp by the bigger and brawnier Black and White Cat. Some lib peeps left food for UPcat this lunch time at the side of the steps. As UPcat was eating, the bigger and brawnier Black and White Cat pounced on him. Fur flew, literally. We think it's from his back. Seems age and old battle scars (fights with other cats, water being poured over him, kicked, etc.) are finally catching up to him. UPca seems slower and older already. After the beating he got, which lasted only a few seconds with the bigger and brawnier Black and White Cat towering over him, UPcat darted back to the safety of the metal gate of the Main Lib. Abe and the guards were amused when he suddenly backpedaled and sought refuge under the guard table as the bigger and brawnier Black and White Cat passed in front of the Main Lib doors. "Natakot!" was all that we could say.

    Wawa naman.

    Pag nadaanan no naman bigyan nyo ng konting pagkain.
    Or, if he'll allow you, pat his head. :D
